why?
Sometimes i feel like i gotta talk to the guy upstairs and ask him a few rather pertinent questions about my life.
Sometimes i feel like my whole life i've been trying hard to grasp at something ephemeral. Somehow whenever i grab a piece of experience that lends itself meaning to my life, it turns to smoke and drifts out of my grasp. A standard postmodernist moment of meaning forever deferred. And I hate pomo.
Sometimes i feel my life plays out like a watered down and sad version of Wuthering Heights. At least Heathcliff had his grand revenge and has his final exit with Cat (debatable). But now i am so tired and jaded i wonder what Emily Bronte was thinking of when she made that guy's wrath so lasting. 2 years ago i was fuming mad, 2 years later i ran out of batt.
I like to believe I've both of feet planted solidly on the ground. But somehow all those earthly, practical linkages like family, friends, studies and all that serves more to tire me than to lend me support.
I'm quite screwed up ain't it? Been thinking too much. Maybe i need a dose of realism. And that's where a nice thick Victorian novel comes into the picture. Either I read it and get all socially realistic, or i read it and fall asleep. Two proposals that are not that bad.
Tada.

Nbcb NYC
New York. It's not as nice as the media would have it to be. It's too sprawling, too expensive and too messy for the average (poor) student like us. But that being said, it's always the company that counts. From Times Square, to Madame Tussaud's, and even to Central Park, there is always that bit of nonsense amidst even the most hairpulling frustration...
that's a cool place: museum of sex, where guys and girls can watch porn in a group, in the name of art-viewing
There.
